I wholly belief Dr Harlina's theory - a woman who finds herself in a string of relationships where men tend to abuse her, mentally, verbally, physically or sexually may be subconsciously simulating her never-ending ending attempt to fulfil her father's unexpressed expectations.</description>

i am taoist, and i identify with most parts of the post. you don't have to be a muslim woman (or man) to know that (Asian) society's expectations for stereotypes to play out their roles is something that won't change, not for a long long time to come.
